icon Learning was developed around the concept that students who may be struggling with academics may not have learning disorders. Many have simply developed incorrect learning habits that affect the way lesson content is perceived and absorbed. icon Learning's system enables students to reorganize lesson content and delivery from a different perspective. Lessons are organized in non-linear iconic arrays, called image maps, that work as visual mnemonic devices providing an organizing framework into which lesson details are linked. Students develop "whole-to-part" methodology as opposed to the traditional "part-to-whole."

icon Learning offers programs to Grand Traverse area students from grades 3 to 12 that focus on the core subjects of Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Reading and College Prep. Students receive three classes per week over a four-week period. Single student and family packages are available. Enrollment begins on Mondays of every week.
